• Is the proposed home able to provide that level of care that the client needs now as well as in the future?
• What is the cost of the home to the resident and family?
• Is the location of the home conducive to family and friends to visit often?
• Will the proposed resident be comfortable in a shared room (this greatly lowers the cost) or is a private room necessary?
• Is the proposed resident's language other than English and are they more comfortable speaking in their native language with staff and other residents?

1. 5th and Country Club - Brick home, licensed for 5 residents. Takes both men and women. Shared and private rooms. One owner is former occupational therapist. Variable rate based on level of care and availability. Averages between $1,800 and 2,200 per month. Call Kathy for more information!

2. Speedway and Rosemont/Pima and Columbus/22nd and Sarnoff//Ironwood Hill and Painted Hills - Mother and daughter owners have 4 homes in Tucson. Licensed for 5 to 10 residents and takes both men and women. Daughter is in nursing school and home is very skilled with hospice care patients. Spanish spoken. Variable rate based on level of care and availability. Cost usually starts around $1,800 but is often negotiable. Arizona Long Term Care Services (ALTCS) taken in one of the homes.

3. LInda Vista/Thornydale - Lovely new home built specifically for an assisted living home. Husband and wife live in the home. Licensed for 10 residents. Takes both men and women. ALTCS taken when space is available. Variable rates average about $1,800 to 2,800 per month. Very popular NW side location.

4. Prince/Flowing Wells - Brick home with nearby park. Licensed for 5. Takes men and women. Spanish spoken. Takes ALTCS. Variable rates average $1,300 to 2,500 per month.
